Motorola Launches Moto G 3rd Gen For 11,999 INR in india anywhere in the world

Moto G (Gen 3) With 4G Support, Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 11,999

Motorola on Tuesday raised the curtain on the third-generation Moto G smartphone at the company's 'MyMotoBFF' launch in New Delhi, ahead of launches in London, New York, and Sao Paulo.
The Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) is available in 8GB and 16GB internal storage variants. Though the biggest addition to the smartphone compared to the second generation Moto G is the inclusion of a 2GB RAM variant, as well as the presence of 4G LTE connectivity in both variants. The Moto G (Gen 3) will be available in 8GB internal storage with 1GB of RAM priced at Rs. 11,999, and a 16GB model with 2GB of RAM priced at Rs. 12,999. It goes up for sale on Tuesday midnight via exclusive online retail partner, Flipkart.

Unfortunately, the company did not reveal the number of the units going on sale on the opening day. Motorola did mention that the previous generation Moto G will be phased out with time. At this price point, Motorola will most likely want to repeat the success of its previous two Moto G smartphones while competing directly against the likes of Lenovo's K3 Note and Xiaomi's Mi 4i.

Launch offers, available till August 2, include Rs. 500 off on Flipkart Fashion, 33 percent off on Myntra, free Airtel Wynk subscription for 6 months, Airtel Double Data offer for 6 months, and a bundled Airtel 4G SIM. 100 lucky customers will get 100 percent cashback, while 100 lucky customers will get a Moto 360 for Rs. 1. The company also revealed exchange offers for Moto E and Moto G owners.

As teased in the invite previously, the Moto G (Gen 3) comes with IPX7 certification, which makes the smartphone dust and water-resistant (immersible up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes). Notably, the previous generation Moto G and Moto G (Gen 2) featured a nano-coating layer that saved them from occasional water splashes. The dual-SIM Moto G (Gen 3) supports two Micro-SIM cards, both supporting 4G LTE connectivity. Notably, the smartphone - like the Moto G (Gen 2) - features dual
front speakers, above and below the display, apart from 2 mics.

It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Moto G (Gen 3) is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with an Adreno 306 GPU. The Moto G (Gen 2) was powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and the Adreno 305 GPU. The Moto G (Gen 3) will feature expandable storage via microSD card.

The company has also upgraded the camera on the Moto G (Gen 3) which now sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and f/2.0 lens, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The second-generation Moto G featured an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Moto G (Gen 3) features 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The smartphone is backed by a 2470mAh battery.

Oneplus Launches Oneplus 2 : Pricing and launch date revealed

OnePlus, the startup Chinese smartphone maker that made quite a name for itself with its first device the OnePlus One, early Tuesday launched its new flagship - the OnePlus 2. The OnePlus 2 will go on sale in India, China, the US, Canada, and select EU regions on August 11. Southeast Asia will get the smartphone in Q4 2015. The 64GB OnePlus 2 will be priced in India at Rs. 24,999 and be available via Amazon India.

The OnePlus 2 will feature a 5.5-inch in-cell display with a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) resolution and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with an Adreno 430 GPU alongside 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. It will sport dual 4G Nano-SIM cards (dual-SIM dual standby), as well as USB Type-C connectivity (with the cable reversible at both ends).

The OnePlus 2 bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, RAW image support, and OIS, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs on a 3300mAh battery, and has a fingerprint sensor that can store up to 5 prints and unlock in under 0.5 seconds. It weighs 175 grams. A 16GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM will be made available later this year at Rs. 22,999.

The company says it will be opening popup stores at 9 cities across the world - namely, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Jakarta, Milan, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, and San Francisco - on Friday. Visitors will get to try out the OnePlus 2, ask questions, and could even win an invite. The first 50 visitors will

Some differentiating features of OxygenOS include the ability to set app permissions; a new camera app with super resolution mode, time lapse, and slow motion; SwiftKey Keyboard; off-screen gestures; option for on-screen navigation keys; an audio tuner; a file manager, and customisability with support for icons packs, the option to adjust icon grid size, personalise the LED indicator, the choice of a Dark UI mode, and the ability to select accents.


At the VR launch event, the company also revealed some more details about the build of the OnePlus 2, and apart from an aluminium alloy frame, the OnePlus 2 features customisable capacitive keys, a hardware Alert Slider button (that switches between no notifications, priority notifications, and all notifications), and finally, the StyleSwap covers that were promised for the predecessor but never materialised. Said to be easy and fast to switch out, the covers come in four materials - Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood, Kevlar. The phone itself ships with a Sandstone Black cover, like the predecessor.
